Wasn't it a great day? My buddy John Banks came by with a good friend of his
for several years. She was a cutie and we ate mangoes and I'll never forget
when she bit into one of those Keitt Mangoes from Walter Zill's place in southern
Florida
"WOW, this is the very best mango I ever ate." And you
should have seen her chow down on that thing. It was so cool!
Well John and I went on a 20 mile bike ride once again on the beach and since
it was starting to storm a bit we decided to cut it short. But I happen to see
someone else I knew and we got to talking about snacks.
They love my weekly messages but what else can we have as a snack besides the
Banana Ice Cream Snack we wrote about last week. Well I can appreciate that
so here's one that we used to make a lot here when I was in the snacking mode.
So glad I rose above that as I eat so well and the food is so satisfying that
snacking would be sort of a bummer and steal from how good I feel after eating
such a quality dinner.
But anyway, not to downplay that too much as I know that we eat primarily because
we want to and NOT because we have to. So enjoy this one, as it's really quite
good.
Air Pop some popcorn and sometimes I'll sprinkle a little walnut oil on it
after it's done and toss the popcorn like you would a tossed salad. Then if
you want that salty taste sprinkle a little sea kelp powder on it.
But here's where it really gets good. Go a health food store where they sell
the best freshly ground peanut butter. Put some of it on some Celery sticks
and surround the popcorn with some celery sticks stuffed with peanut butter
and away you go. Now go easy on this as this really kicks butt! And then too
much of a good thing becomes a bad thing.
Enjoy the finer things when it comes to eating. Even though you see the big
picture, remember that maximum success is achieved in steps. All progress begins
one step at a time.
There is no sudden leap to greatness. Good work done little by little becomes
a great work. The house of success no matter what you aspire to succeed in,
is built brick by brick.
You can do what you want to do, achieve what you want to achieve, attain any
reasonable objective you may have in mind. Not all of a sudden, nor in one sweeping
act of achievement.
You will do it gradually, day by day and play by play. If you want to do it,
if you work to do it, you will accomplish your goal over a sufficient period
of time.
Your big accomplishments will be a series of little accomplishments. Many strokes
overthrow the tallest oak.
So when you need those little strokes, let me know so I can see it we have
