Gosh it was a great day. I just got back in town after being away for a couple
days on tour. I will get to your phone calls and e-mail messages within the next
couple days.
Back in July of 2000 I sent out a recipe on how to make a Mango Pie. It was
a smash hit and I got to thinking of what to share with you for the last snack
for awhile and this would be a real treat. If you have a sweet tooth then this
one will satisfy it for anyone
check this one out. And by the way, this
could also be a real treat for a morning snack, but if you are sitting home
relaxing, watching the tube, or playing cards or whatever pastime activity you
are involved with, enjoy this one. And as long as it's at least 2-3 hours after
you ate your evening meal, then you are set to go with one.
Ingredients:
15-20 Medjool Dates
10-15 Dried Apricots
5-10 Dried Pineapple Rings
1 Cup of Thompson Seedless Raisins (soaked in 1 ½ cups of Distilled Water
over
night at room temperature)
10 Dried Figs
Now the fun begins: Put the Dates (with the Pits removed), Apricots, Pineapple
Rings, Soaked Raisins including the juice and Figs into your blender and blend
well. It will seem like it will never blend, but keep poking around at it with
a large wooden spoon until it just blends up into a thick chunky mixture. Now
put that into a pie plate and smooth it out and freeze it over night. It will
harden and then the next day you can make them into squares (small squares Gene).

An intelligent plan is your first step to success with your nutritional plan.
