It's getting close to Christmas everyone!

So next week I'll be writing an article on a Perfect Christmas Feast. The ideal way to eat the Turkey, mashed potatoes and all the trimmings and the dessert to boot. Now that ought to be a hoot. Tune into it, as it will be a winner for you! I made this recipe last week again and I have to tell you it is an awesome stew!

Let soak in 4 cups of distilled water for about 8 hours

  • ¼ Cup Barley
  • ¼ Cup Rice
  • ¼ Cup Lentils

Then put it in a cooking pot with

  • 1 chopped Sweet Onion
  • 6 cloves of Garlic finely chopped
  • 2 Red Bliss Potatoes
  • ½ Sweet Potato or YAM (Preferably)
  • 1 sliced Parsnip
  • 1 cup chopped Parsley
  • ½ pound of Escarole
  • ¼ teaspoon of Basil
  • ¼ teaspoon of Oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon of Thyme
  • I never use Salt as it's Pure, White & Deadly, but if you must, use ¼ teaspoon of Sea Kelp or Sea Dulse or Sea Salt.

Bring this whole mixture to a boil for 5 minutes and then let simmer for at least an hour and no more than 1½ hours. You can even stuff this into a baked Acorn Squash. Can't wait to hear how all of you like it!

ENJOY and here's a little something to remember if you are wondering how much to eat at a meal, if you regulate the quality of what you eat and the quantity will take care of itself!
