Eating out at lunchtime is usually a bear to do to get something very nutritious
without a lot of aggravation. So here's a recipe as a back up for when you are
on the road or taking a client out for lunch or whatever the lunchtime agenda
is for that day. I copied this recipe several times and stapled about 10 of them
together so I have a little clump of recipes in every one of my suit pockets to
be ready for that occasion.
And here's what I ask the waiter/waitress to do for me, "Ma'am/Sir, my
doctor has me on a diet and has requested I have this for lunch. Could you please
see if the chef can do this for me?" And at that point I give her/him a
recipe. 100% of the time they go out of their way to prepare something very
nice for me. All we have to do is ask for what we want in a nice way, as nobody
knows what we want until we ask for it. And they are there to serve us, as they
need the money
no matter how big the restaurant is!
NO MUSHROOMS; TOMATOES; or ONIONS
(just with this salad only!)
Put Romaine Lettuce Leaves
on the bottom of a salad bowl.
Then put some thin slices of
Yellow Summer Squash; Zucchini Squash;
and Cucumber.
Surround the mixture with some
Artichoke Hearts and just a few Olives.
Then top with Red, Green & Yellow
Bell Pepper slices and plenty of Avocado.
(Dressing on the side)
*****and please, toast the bread very well done*****
(A note to the chef: HAVE FUN WITH IT! Thank you so very much!)
