Top of the day to you!
You know how sometimes you just don't have the spirit or the time to stand
over a kitchen sink and prepare and toss a salad. Then make the right dressing
although you know the salad would be good for you or you just have a craving
for one.
Well I feel like that at times especially like tonight when I got in too late
from my 7 mile walk and stretch routine I do! I jumped rope for 30 minutes then
off on my walk and stretch I went only to get home a way too late for anything
real heavy to eat.
So I made a Liquid Salad in a large coffee mug that I got from one of those
free speeches you give as part of our tithing when a company or group just doesn't
have the fee. Well this salad was incredibly delishusss! Hopefully by misspelling
it may have put some emphasis on how great it really was.
INGREDIENTS!
- 4 Plum Tomatoes
- 4 small Pickling Cucumbers
- 2 small Zucchini Squash
- 1 cup of fresh Parsley
- 4 Stalks of Celery
- 4 ounces of Sunflowers Seeds
Grind the sunflower seeds in a coffee grinder. Wash all the ingredients and
put in your Vita Mix www.vitamix.com/household (use code AMC1 for discount) or high-powered blender.
Here's the procedure, put the tomatoes in the bottom of the blender and then
the cucumbers and then the Zucchini and then the ground up sunflower seeds and
then the Parsley & Celery! Blend is all up for no more than 15 seconds and
pour into our favorite cup, bowl or whatever you want to serve it in. Then sprinkle
some finely chopped Tomato and Basil on top!
This is an excellent treat and will keep you lean or help you to get to that
state. Thanks to all of you who continue to write me. Be on the lookout for
a small blurb this Tuesday on Dr. Gayle Carson & My Boot Camp/Retreat coming
up in June!
One last thing, I was speaking with someone tonight and they said, "yes
but Wayne, you are so into this that it's easy for you"! I guess it's like
everything else, you have to want what you want so bad that the want is more
than the effort. I want to be totally healthy and NEVER be sick due to diet
related diseases.
They also said to me, "my 24 hours are used up, I just don't have the
time!" I thought for a moment and said, "you know, you're right! I
have never seen anyone use up just 22 hours a day. We all use up our 24 hours
a day. It's all a matter of choice. And since we all have our obstacles to rise
above, it's just delegating the time to do it.
Those of us who teach mastery when we speak to organizations know that it takes
courage in everything we do.
I read this today and it made sense to me and I think you'll like it!
Courage is the power to face your difficulties. It comes from the reserves
of your mind that are more powerful than your outside circumstances.
When you recognize that you are bigger than your problems, you gain the courage
necessary to overcome anything.
Your obstacles will look large or small to you according to whether you are
large or small. Courage is the capacity to confront what can be imagined. It
gives you the ability to rise above reality.
You are more important than any of your problems.
Stay Terrific as you are unlike anything ever created!
