The top of the day to you.
I've had a lot of people ask me after they get the recipes in when do they
get to eat them as the all sound great. This is how I would start each day and
go through the day until the evening meal.
The evening meal can be your Protein Meal. When I wake up I always have as
my first meal, a huge slab of seedless watermelon. And I usually have this about
7:30 - 8:00 am while I'm in the Florida Room reading some of my either Marketing
Materials; Health Materials or Self-Improvement Materials. I always read the
Brain Candy (National Geographic, etc. before bed).
After the Watermelon, [and oh by the way, I made up an awesome melon dish yesterday
that included 5 kinds of melons (Juan Canary = one of my very favorites + Crenshaw
+ HoneyDew + Watermelon + Cantaloupe) and what a way to start the day. The dickens
with the fact it's outstandingly healthy, it's just flat delicious.] I go into
my office to work for a couple hours.
Then I would go back into the kitchen for some stone fruits = Peaches, Cherries,
Nectarines and Plums either cut up into a bowl and mix them up or just a bunch
of each one in a dish to nibble on when I'm back in the office until 12:30 PM!
Then at 12:30 PM is when I'm in heaven as it's Mango Season and I have the
best money can buy from Walter Zill in Boynton Beach, FL and his number is 561-737-9149.
He ships and believe me I would put all my reputation on the line with his mangoes.
They are truly the BEST! Let him know I sent you and then it's fat city!
So at 12:30 PM I make up my really, really, really favorite dish of them. 4
Bananas and 2 Mangoes topped with 1 large Choice Medjool Date cut up and tossed
liked you would a salad in a large mixing bowl. I gave you that recipe a couple
weeks ago and if you didn't get that one if you are new to these weekly messages
then by all means drop me a line and I will get that one off to you with no
problem. YOU'LL LOVE IT I'LL GRANT YOU!
You'll probably be thinking, "when does he eat the starches"
NEVER
IN THE SUMMER! After I eat this recipe of Mangoes and Bananas in the Florida
Room while I listen to the birds and crickets and watch the lizards do their
thing entertaining me like all get out, I do about 30 minutes more work and
then I go to bed for that excellent time of day
NAP TIME! When I get up
I do my training for 2 hours and well you got the schedule a couple weeks ago.
But this is how I would eat in the summer at the first part of the day. NO,
it's not too much sugar. It's the kind of sugar we desperately need and the
fluids are top of the line. Enjoy this while it lasts, as pretty soon we'll
be getting into the fall weather and then the diet changes again.
There are 4 basic seasons no matter where you live and there are fruits that
grow only in those seasons so after the melons and mangoes and stone fruits
are gone, then it's grape, persimmons, apples, etc.
We also get some mangoes at Ed Ensey's in Merritt Island. Dr. Roger Scott (my
dentist & great friend) and I went down a few weeks ago and John Travis
who is in great shape was working there and when I asked him what his favorite
mango was, he said a classic line, "Whatever one I have in my hand at the
time." Now that's really saying something as they grow many, many varieties.
The ones you get in the store are lousy at best. Treat yourself to awesome things.
When I was a kid in Canada, we used to go to my Aunt Jean's Farm in Winsloe,
Prince Edward Island and every Sunday she was famous for her hot apple pies
cooling on the windowsill. Well I can remember when I would walk by it, my mouth
would start watering and even at the thought of it as we were driving out there
my mouth would water. If just the thought can initiate that mouth watering (digestive
juices flowing), just think of what a good thought about yourself would do.
Think Mink as are unequivocally the very best you got. Enjoy the best now. It's
all an attitude.
