"A Reason and Recipe to be Healthy!"

The top of the day to you.

I am so optimistic about what is going on in the world and just the other night I was listening to Joe Polish interview the great Gary Halbert. Gary is a marketing genius who is pretty well on top of what is going on with our NYC & DC events on 9/11/01! I took copious notes and thought I would share some of them with you so you can too have more reason to be optimistic.

One of the best things we can do with all the events that have happened and will continue to happen is to take care of your health. We must be able to cope with this tragedy on a physical level, emotional level, spiritual level and financial level.

Life as we know it is over. We have entered into a new chapter in history and there are things people need to know to deal with these sorts of things…

This is an absolute necessity. This is the first concern especially now even more so than ever before in our lives and that is to take care of our health and our physical fitness.

We all know that our health is important all during our lives and it's no use giving up our health in our quest for wealth as we only have to spend that wealth to regain our health. It's a hoot when you think of it. But now is the time we really need to be thinking of our health more so than ever.

We don't know what's going to happen and we need to be prepared in a way that would be a great benefit to us in any event.

Now when we all saw the World Trade Center crumbling to the ground with the massive amount of people running for safety, it is worthy of our consideration. Of the less than 5000 people who were killed during that disaster, a lot of them were not killed by the crumbling of the buildings but rather by cardiac events. Heart attacks, etc. because they were not physically fit enough to run away from a disaster.

Many people are not physically strong. So imagine that you experience such a disaster and you came across a loved one, colleague or whomever, and a huge beam was pinning them down and you tried to pull that beam off them or they would die. Our natural focus would be to try and help that person. Well you can't do that unless you have physical strength to do that.

So in addition to all of the other reasons why we need to be strong and healthy, we need to be ready to respond to disasters. And I don't want to sound like a deliverer of bad news but we will experience more of these sorts of things and we really need to be ready for them healthfully. No, the world is NOT coming to an end right now. This is just a challenging time.

Also I would like to suggest that you use me to help you locate those folks who will ship food to your front door. And how to prepare foods so you can build your body to be the best you can be with an abundance of energy, better night's sleep, happy mood, strong body and get rid of that ugly fat that will kill you sooner than anything else I can think of. You know when you think of it, I personally have never seen a fat 80-year-old person in my life and I've been in 23 countries. Now I'm sure there are some around but doggone few I'll grant you.

But to continue about the September 11th issue at hand.

I want to keep on giving you some recipes that will keep you strong and ready for anything that you need to be physically fit for.

There will be in all probably some similar disasters yet to come. I think we would be foolish if we feel the World Trade Center is going to be the only disaster we are going to experience. There will most likely be biological warfare; there will be chemical warfare so I would like to suggest that the first thing to think about all this would be to start making your health your first concern and not your last resort.

Notice when you are on a plane when they are schooling us on the oxygen masks. Notice we have to put the mask on our selves first…then our loved ones. Because if you pass out on the plane, you are not going to be able to help your child or whomever else you might be traveling with and are responsible for. We need to take care of our selves and our loved ones first, then the business, etc. Our priorities need to be right all the way around.

So my commitment to you for the following articles and has been all along actually is to help make you the healthiest person on the planet and not the wealthiest person in the grave…CAPISH?

Now here is a great recipe for this week.

I tried this yesterday and it was excellent. Steam a Sweet Potato or preferably a Yam (Sweet Potatoes are Tubers and Yams are Roots. The Roots are so much better for you. Now that's not to indicate you shouldn't eat Sweet Potatoes, it's just that if you have the choice, take the Yam.)

Toast some Millet Bread and use the Yam or Sweet Potato as a spread and top with grated raw Beets, Cabbage and Avocado slices.

That's all there is to it and I will grant you that you will probably want a second helping but man it's filling and will last you through the day. This is a Noon sort of thing. Best to you in these promising times.

PS. As for what to do with Osama bin Laden:

Killing him will only create a martyr. Holding him prisoner will inspire others to take hostages to demand his release. Therefore, I suggest we do neither.

Let the Special Forces, Seals or whatever other means we have available to capture him, then fly HIM to an undisclosed hospital and have surgeons quickly perform a complete sex change operation.

Then we return HER to Afghanistan to live as a woman under the Taliban. Just a thought!
