2% of all the people in this world think logically for themselves; 8% think when in pain and suffering and 90% would rather die than think. The fact that you are reading this article suggests to me that you are in that 2% who think.

Dr. Lester Breslow, the Dean of School of Public Health, at the University of California in Los Angeles says: "Just by switching from a bad lifestyle to a healthier one, one can expect to add as much as 14 years to their life!"

So for you to take 8 minutes out of your life to read this article to learn how to add years to your life is a pretty good trade off. So hat's off to you for being a member of that 2% who think and for taking that step towards a healthier lifestyle by ruling out the 'sauce' once and for all.

I drank enough booze to float the 'Titanic' and more. For 23 years of my life I did drugs, smoked the herb, drank booze, chewed tobacco, dipped snuff and cried to Merle Haggard almost every night.

Thought I had it made ... I've been down on my luck so bad that I actually had to look up to see down. In the next few articles, I'm going to show you some easy tips to have high energy all the time: eliminate stress under stress and use it to your benefit.; great pick ups for the day; a great breakfast; a super lunch; an excellent dinner (supper); 9 things to keep you healthily all the time; the best drinking water; what to eat late at night and finding your true greatness more than you do. You are a marvel of design and not a garbage dump with a hairy lid. You actually own 100% stock in a blue chip corporation and I urge you not to sell your stock cheap, put a high price on your stock as you're the best you got. Constantly reward yourself with good things.

So to begin with, here are some practical tips to have high energy all the time.

Throughout the day, I try to have energy gaining and avoid the energy draining foods ... along with at least one short 20-30 minute nap every day around the noon to midday time.

The energy draining foods are anything that is white, i.e. white sugar, white flour, white salt, white rice. Remember, if it's white, it's trite...not much good stuff left to feed the wonderful you. And the whiter the bread, the wider the spread, the sooner you're dead

Now the energy gaining foods are fruits that are in season (refer to "The Perfect Diet Program" for the foods that are in season) and the natural starches like whole grain breads, sweet potatoes, brown rice, pasta, etc. which could very well be your noon meal of which we'll talk about in a future article.

When you are eating fruit avoid eating the sweet ones and the sour ones at the same time. A few benefits of eating fruit: just crack them open and eat = Nature's Fast Food; they're cheap, they're portable ... you can take them anywhere and they're legal, you can feel this good all the time.

Watch your energy soar to the max with these energy gaining foods along with a nap in the day. I encourage you to eat good stuff so you'll always be tough ... you owe it to yourself as you're the best you've got!
