Wayne's Brussels Sprouts"
INGREDIENTS:
- One pound of Brussels Sprouts
- 1 Vidalia Onion (Preferably, or at least one Sweet Onion)
- 1 Clove of Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon of an equal mixture of Basil, Thyme, Rosemary and Oregano
- Two Tablespoons of Cold Pressed Walnut Oil
In a large flat stainless steel cooking pan put one eighth inch of distilled
water and get it hot. Put a chopped Vidalia Onion and a chopped Clove of Garlic
in the water then put the Brussels Sprouts that you just cut in halves in the
water as well. Sprinkle the mixture of the Tablespoon of an equal mixture of
Basil, Thyme, Rosemary and Oregano over the top of it all! Cover and let simmer
for about 15 minutes. Put in a dish and sprinkle the Two Tablespoons of Cold
Pressed Walnut Oil on top of it or if you would prefer, sprinkle some chopped
Walnuts on top it and this is a delicious vegetable recipe for any Protein Dish
you might be having for that evening meal. As a matter of fact this could be
the Protein Dish you might want to have. This will serve two people! Fast and
easy and enough to make you say "BOY HOWDY and three Hail Mary's"!
